Please tell me there is somewhere that I can purchase/download the music from this game. I've gotten a little past the marc scene and so far I really enjoy this VN, the characters are interesting and the pacing is great, the art style is very unique and very visually pleasing, but most of all I really enjoy the music (I just really love music lol) and I would really like to be able to listen to some of these tracks while on the go. I don't really have any criticisms of the game, nor have I encountered any bugs thus far. All in all, great job on this and keep up the good work!

(+1)

Thank you for your kinds words, you made my day!

The problem about the soundtrack is that there are multiple musicians involved. There's a music gallery in the game where you can replay the original songs made especially for Chasing the Stars, but I don't have the rights to sell the soundtrack, and the main studio dissolved :(

I'll try to contact the musicians, anyway. So far, the singer of our opening agreed make her song available on Bandcamp! ^_^ It's a start!

(+1)

You're very welcome, I'm glad I could make your day.

That's a bummer that the studio dissolved. If it makes it easier for you I will narrow it down to just a few songs. In the music gallery they are titled: Casual, Into the Club, Sexy, and Street. These are the main ones I really liked. I really appreciate that you're willing to go out of your way to try and contact the musicians. Also, I've since finished the game and gotten every CG except for one (I cannot for the life of me figure out which one though lol). I really do like the story and aesthetic of this game, the steampunk-ish setting is quite interesting, the visuals are unlike anything I've seen before and they are simply stunningly gorgeous, and the idea behind the main conflict (I don't want to put spoilers down in these comments, so I'm being vague) seems like a plausible event in reality. So again, keep up the great work. Sorry in advance if my comments are a little incoherent, I've not been getting enough sleep since daylight savings ended here in the US.

I'm sorry, but PayPal is more convenient for me than Stripe payments through card 😔 But you can pay with PayPal using your card, without having a PP account, as a "guest".

voice actors are very good so far, I am still at the first part of the story. They sound much more natural than in games like Camp Buddy so far. My only complaint is that so far there are parts with no music nor voices, so it feel uncomfortably silent. It's not really bad but when you go from having quite nice music to just death silence, it can be a tad bit off putting, I know this would happen  before a dramatic thing happen but i notice this happens sometimes just during a regular conversation so far.

There shouldn't  be any moments without music... It usually happens when you click on "back" or load a saved game: sometimes Renpy (the engine) recognizes there was music previously defined, but sometimes doesn't, I don't know why  :(  I'm sorry!

(4 edits)

oooh, ok I get it. Also there is one last thing I want to say, I am loving the story so much so far, your team has a really great or many great writers. It been awhile since I read a story that just felt so smooth and natural and develops quite nicely. However, there is that one part that I don't want to spoil... but it has you put in a "coded password" and I feel the hint for that code was not narrow enough... I am a gamer myself but I haven't been playing games for so long so I would have never known that was the code. It was a bit annoying and I had to keep re-loading because once you get it wrong you can't progress. I guess if i have to put it simply there seems to be just a bit of bugs still with in the visual novel. Though I do want to restate the fact the story , music and characters are all good, the bugs barely effect the quality/enjoyment of this piece as a whole. if there is a link to a patreon or somthing where I can donate more money for future projects let me know, I will want to do so as soon as i can afford it. (also just realized you said sorry, you dont need to apologize xD I just wanted to give my feelings so you can really get some good feedback)

Thank you for your feedback! To be honest, stating the things that you'd like to see improved is more helpful for me than just an "I like it", so I'm grateful.

One of the issues I want to fix in the next update is about the password, yes, mostly telling the player their guess was wrong and starting again when they don't get the right answer. I see that I should add a hint, too. But you talk about bugs, and those were supposed to be fixed already. What bugs exactly have you found?

I'm glad you like the story so far! ;)  And yes, I do have a Patreon, which is a good way of helping me fund my current ongoing project, Night and Day! This is the link: https://www.patreon.com/ertal

(1 edit) (+1)

aah no I meant bugs as in just the password(though i guess password isn't technically a bug) thing and the music stopping if loading or going back . besides those two I didnt notice any other bugs. and ok I will make sure to give to the patreon when I can!

(+8)

My biggest complaint about this game is that if you don't give in to the sexually abusive boss, you're locked into a bad end. I won't recommend this game due to that.

(+7)

I know that's the biggest issue for many people. I'm working on an update with a new option added,  that will allow to enter the other love interests paths and also to get a new good ending WITHOUT having to do anything with Marc. Thank you for your support!

(+3)

Oh, that's awesome news! I've been waiting to buy this game but the part with Marc was the only thing that gave me pause. Can't wait for the update. ^-^

(+2)

Hi, how is the update going? Because I really don't want to have to romance Marc to get to romance the guys I am actually interested in.

Thanks!

(+1)

Still planning it, sorry: it needs additional puzzles and a complete new way of solving the main issue, so it's taking me more than expected.

(+2)

Was that already implemented? I would like to buy the game, but that thing with Marc is holding me up a little.

No, not yet, sorry. It involves writing a new ending, so please, be patient.

Got an error while playing.

Hmm, when did you download the game? His error was fixed a couple of updates ago.

Ah, I downloaded as soon as I got my key once the kickstarter ended. I was just now getting to play it. I'll redownload. Sorry :)

Hahaha, no worries!

(Please, follow the guide! Many people get stuck in endings they don't like otherwise).

(+1)

Hi there !

Sorry but... I'm stuck!! I mean, I can't avoir bad ending 5 and there's nothing on your guide about it... What did I do wrong? T_T

Here are my choices please help me !

-Go to the gay bar

-Don't leave the office

-No

-Irene

-Refuse politely

-Perhaps

-Don't ask him yet

-I'll ask him directly

-Tell him what I think

-Check computer with yellow band

-Up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right

Thank you T_T

In fact, IT IS in the guide: to avoid Bad End 5 you must sleep with Marc :(

Sorry, I know many people isn't happy with this option, and after My Burning Heart is released I'll make an update for CtS with an alternative route to avoid having to sleep with Marc. For now... play the scene in Skip Mode?

(Oh, and I think you should definitely take the other option in the first choice).

Oh I'm sorry I didn't saw it...

Oh I see... That's kinda sad lmao ! But okay I understand now... Thank you :D

(Okay thanks ;) )

I loved this game so, so very much. Between this and A Hand in the Darkness, I am a big fan of your VNs. Please keep on making them: your storytelling ability, your characters, and the diversity in your settings make these games great.

If you do another Kickstarter or Patreon for another BL  VN, please let me know. I would be happy to donate as much as I can to support such a talented designer.

(+1)

Aaaaaw, thank you, you made my day! <3

I have a Patreon right now, for my VN work and hopefully soon for my short fiction on Amazon. The next project after My Burning Heart won't need a KS campaign, but perhaps the next one will, so thank you so much for your support and your kind words!

I just saw this now and sponsored you on Patreon tonight! You'll be writing a piece of short fiction on Amazon? Exciting! I can't wait.

chasing the stars open song English  lyrics please I can’t hear what their singing.

(1 edit) (+1)

I managed to complete the game fully and was interested in discovering any secrets so, using third party applications, stumbled upon some apparently unused sprites for Marc and Biel with bondage on. I was wondering whether there are any future plans or was it discarded entirely?

lol Don't break the game...

Those will be used in the extra scenes that will appear when you complete a route with a good ending, but they aren't implemented yet.

chasing the stars op lyrics please

Hello! Thank you for your visual novel. I'm really enjoying it so far (although I must admit it turned out somewhat darker than I'd expected).

I'd like to report a bug. When I do this:

— Show me all sexy scenes
— Go to the gay bar
— Don't leave the office
— No
— Ask Pol's opinion
— Irene
— Accept his offer
— I want to top
— Perhaps
— Go to Mark's office and ask him about the errors
— Tell him what I think
— Check computer with yellow band
— Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right
— No, I'll pass
— Go to the cafeteria
— Tell Pol about my concerns
[Error happens after the text "The sudden black screen is welcoming after the sight of those not-eyes pleading to me."]

I get this error:

I managed to somehow-fix it by moving the game into a folder without Cyrillic letters,  then I'm shown an error message with Ignore button, but could you please fix it? I'm using the Linux version
(+1)

I can fix it, yes. Thank you for reporting it!

Linux is giving Renpy games a lot of bugs lately; I even had to take the Linux version out of Steam because the amount of them :(  I'm sorry!

(+1)

So, I went to buy the game but it wont accept my card. I've bought ur other game, but for some reason it wont let me buy this one cri.

(-1)

Sorry, I have itchio as Paypal only; it's a bit complicated when you are out of the US. But you can buy it with card on Steam.

(+2)(-3)

I guess I like the game.

However, I don't like Marc. I found him disturbing and a creepy old man. I don't like the thought of professors sleeping with their students. It's very unprofessional.

So, I skipped through all of his scenes. I'm sorry if I'm offending you, but I just can't stand professors who take advantage of their students. The very same thing happened at my college. It was very hard to trust school faulty members again after that incident.

I absolutely adore Pol, though. He was the reason I played this game. He's very cute and a friend everybody would love to have around.

These are my opinions. Anyhow, I look forward to your other games.

(-3)

I agree with you about that kind of college teachers, to be honest: I had the bad luck of finding some during my Uni years and found them despicable and unprofessional. But in this case, I think this kind of behavior fits Marc's character. Someone has to be the baddie or create trouble for the protagonist or we wouldn't have story, right?

Anyway, I'm glad you liked at least Pol. I hope you enjoy my next games!

(+1)

I completely agree

The game is wonderful! Though, this error has popped up. Despite this error, I really enjoy the game!

I honestly do like this game overall, but I feel that I probably liked your other game, A Hand in Darkness, more. There were times where it also felt like the romance took a bit of a back seat to the overall plot (rather than working along side it) and some of the smut (I wasn't happy to have the MC do a 3 way to get to Biel's route when I began playing for the first time either). Plus the romance sort of appears quite a bit late in the game or that is what it felt like to me. Overall. I'm glad to have supported you as I have faith in what you can do and so I want to share both criticism and praise. The main plot was intriguing and I feel for most of the characters...except Marc. The art was nice and I have no problems with the music either. Plus the voice acting was spot on. Backgrounds were also well-drawn and I have a fondness for Biel and Pol as people. Congratulations on your newest game and good luck with your fututre ones. I eagerly look forward to what you create next.

Thank you for your words! And you are completely right: the focus  wasn't the romance this time. I wanted to have a story with steampunk elements and moral choices, where the protagonist just happened to be gay and open to casual sex with someone he shouldn't date.

I hope you enjoy more of My Burning Heart, which is definitely more focused on romance and sexy moments ;)

(1 edit)

I absolutely loved this game!! I may be one of the very few but I honestly liked Marc's the best! The only thing I wish could be different was if a CG gallery was added so that I can look back on pictures of the special "cutscenes" or whatever they are called. I know you probably get that a lot but just an idea for future works!

Please download the updates! A rough CG gallery is already added, and a better one including the music gallery too is in the making ;)

By the way... I also like Marc, a lot.

I just finished Pol's route (please protect the precious cinnamon roll ;-:) and I must say I loved the plot and how it was constructed along with the characters. Looking forward to Biel's route as well! Marc can choke lol. But out of curiosity I will probably end up playing his as well.

This VN exceeded my expectations, the creativity shows a lot in your writing which is also of high quality. Amazing worldbuilding!

Can you open up another method of payment? I can't purchase the game with "pay with paypal" but I can "pay with card"..have no idea why..

(-1)

That's odd!  :(

Anyway, I'm going to keep the itchio payment method as Paypal only (because it's more convenient for me, sorry). But next week the game will be up on Steam, and you can buy with card there.

Hii :) any word on the Steam release? I really want to buy the game but there's no update whether or not it's coming out x_x

Sorry, I need to do a couple of small fixes, but I won't have any time until the weekend :(

But's it's definitely tiny things (finishing Steam achievements and updating the notice about adult content because they found it more "adult oriented" than it currently says on the Steam store), so of course it's coming out!

No worries! I'm happy to hear it'll be out on Steam (soonishTM). I've been following the game since Kickstarter so I'm very excited at the chance to support/play it. Best of luck! :)

Hey there!

So, I've finished the game for the first time (I mean, with a good ending) after fighting with it for quite some time. First of all, I must congratulate you for making a game where I hit a few bad endings unintentionally before getting to my first good one. After so many years playing BL and otome games, I became pretty good at it and I usually can get the endings I want straight ahead!

So, I did Pol's ending, and I really loved it, despite it being somewhat bittersweet because of all the stuff happening and that Tirs discovered. Still beautiful ending. Tirs being Tirs, it was very touching to see him choosing that path in life.

Next character I'll do will be Biel - can't wait to try that too. At least now I won't be tricked by the game anymore haha!

As for Marc well. I didn't like him in the demo, and now I hate him XD - so I won't be doing his route, but that's okay, I'm not aiming for all endings so it's fine. I'm very satisfied with his fate in the ending I did - and I suppose it's the same in Biel's, so yeah, I'm happy with that.

Overall, the story surprised me - I honestly didn't think it'll go down that path. I was expecting something more si-fi. But it doesn't make the game any less good - I really loved ill from beginning to end.

Honestly, I have only one complaint, and it doesn't seem it's on the list of your to do things for the update, so I'll mention it. I'd love to be able to adjust the text speed. I'm a very fast reader, and the slow advancing text is bothering me a lot. I tend to set it on the fastest possible without it being entire messages appearing at once. But well, that's a minor thing, obviously.

So yeah, again, congrats on the release. Can't wait for My Burning Heart now!

Thank you very much for your detailed review!

And you are completely right about the speed option... :( The GUI was already made when I chose it, and it lacks some options, true. I'll try to add the text speed bar!

I've just finished all three good endings and some bad, the voices were a good choice! First I thought I'd like Marc's good ending the most, but now Pol's is my favorite. I really liked the story, writing, art, and puzzles! I really enjoyed this game! Thank you for that! I'm looking forward to your next projects! :D

Do you happen to have the answers to get Marc's good ending? I've been trying for a while now but I think I must be doing something wrong.

Have you checked the guide? You should find all the necessary steps there.

Is it in the files? I'm gonna check now, thanks!

Love, love, love this game! Thanks so much for making it. :)

I hope a walkthrough comes out soon, I can't seem to sleep with pol or biel

(+1)

Accept the threesome, then spend time with the one you want to choose, don't talk too much with Marc in the future.

lol i managed yesterday xD tnx

I download the game to play it on my Mac but the .exe file won't open??? None of them open so what should I do???

Really? I'll make separate builds then, thanks for telling me! I'll upload them in a moment.

(1 edit)

It opened!!!! Thank you so much!!!! Also I just want you to know hat I had a lot of moment where I just stare at the screen and mentally screaming at the choices that the games present( In a terribly good way!!! ;) ) Thank you so much!!!

P.S is there not a gallery option where we could view our past C.Gs??

I hope you downloaded the update! The music gallery and the missing sexy scene will be added next!

Yeeees! I did! I just didn’t get the chance to play it then and there! Now you’ve made me even more hyped up!!!

I saw your Steam page got the dreaded Coming Soon instead of releasing; guess you've gotten caught up in their arbitrary enforcement of sexual content standards =/ GL, hope that gets sorted out in a timely manner. Will buyers here get Steam keys as well?

(+1)

No, don't worry: the game is in their review queue, but just for them to check the game works fine on their end, nothing more. I suppose they will give the get go in a couple of days (but they don't work in the weekends).

Anyway, yes, of course: as soon as Steam keys are available, you'll be able to claim one with your itchio purchase.

(4 edits)

Uh... stupid question but the partial voice acting, in which scenes is it included usually? Also when will the guide be released?

(+2)

In the scenes that introduce new characters, and in some key scenes.

The guide and some issues fixes will be posted tomorrow!

Show post...

I know you're working on the Steam release, but a couple questions.
Says the VN features a CG Gallery and Guide. Not seeing those anywhere, I'd love that guide cause I feel like I'm going in loops unless I go with Marc.
On the arrow key puzzle, great hilarious little easter egg loved it, but if you mess one up are you stuck in a loop forever of it saying nothing happens?
Just that, LOVING the game so far and so happy to see it release!

You're completely right, sorry T_T  But I'm glad you like it so far!

The fact that you go with Marc doesn't mean you are "in his route": think of the game more of like a story with just one route and multiple endings

Show post...

When you say it like that it makes so much sense and I got it, thank you!

By the way, there are a couple of things more misssing, check the latest Development Log here on itch.io, please.

But hopefully they will be added in a week, not in months.

Show post...

That's fair, should've read that haha. Good to know and can't wait!

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! :D AAAAAAHHHH

(+1)

OMG I ACIDENTALLY BOUGHT IT TWICE!!! TToTT what should I do!!!

(+1)

I'll refund you, don't worry!

Thank you! TToTT I was so excited when I saw the post that I immediately clicked buy but I wasn’t until later when I went to the main page did I see my other purchases over 4 months ago...

(+1)

Any updates on this vn release date?

(+1)

Can you add pay with credit card button

(-1)

:(  I don't think itchio supports that option, but I'll ask around.

(1 edit)

I pay with credit card on itch.io all the time. That's why I asked.

Question, are the threesomes poly romance routes or just sex only?

Sex only (sorry!).

Haha, fine either way, just wondering =)

Hello, may I just say that the demo was delightful and the art is beautiful~!! And Pol was so cuteeee~!! He’s my favorite~

There’s something I want to ask, what does “Top/Bottom/Skip adult content options” mean?? I mean, I can understand the skip option, but what about the top/bottom??

Eeeeerrr... It means if you want Tirs to be the seme or the uke in each sexual scene. Is it clearer this way? lol It's a bit embarrassing to explain!

Ohhhhh, I get it~!! Thank youu~!!

Actually, I was hoping for that to be the case, but I wasn’t a 100% sure, so I asked~ It’s a bit hard for me to find games with that option, so to be assured that this one is, it really makes me happy 😊

Thank you for making this game~!!!  😊😁😁

I've finally been able to replay again - for the first time since the original demo - and I love the changes in the backgrounds, the point and click part and the overall direction it's taking. It's really a gorgeous game. And I'm still overwhelmed by Pol's sweeteness haha.

I don't have much more to say than the first time other than that, except that I can't wait to hear the characters' voices (it did reach that kickstarter tier, right? - don't remember well). I'm also still slighly bothered by the skip adult sections prompts that break the immersion - I really wish for a menu option where you could switch between "enable all adult content", "ask about individual scenes" and "disable all adult content", but I believe I've already mentionned something like  that anyway. I'm just really upset about things that break immersion haha - and if I feel it early on, I'm mostly worried that it be worse when the things'll get truly romantic.

Well, that would be it for now I think. Though, at the risk of being obnoxious - and sorry in advance - what is the current planned release date, if you have one? I can't seem to find anything about that. Sorry if it's "hidden" in plain view and I'm the blind one, or if you simply don't want to answer for now!

Thank you and good luck with finishing and polishing the game and all!

Thank you for your input! The planned release date is June 2018 :)

And about the skip options... I didn't think they'd be so bothersome! I'll try to add an additional menu for them at the start of the game, then.

I've observed that I'm not that bothered about skip options appearing when the subject is gore, because it's rarely a touching or emotional moment, at least in that sense. But I don't know, when it's about romance it definitely bugs me a lot - for example, in this specific demo, it's a lot less frustrating if you choose the option to go to the gay bar than if you stay where you are, since the scene is only a random thing with a random dude in the bar

(1 edit)

Hello! This has probably already been reported but just in case I wanted to send this to you and your team. I was at the scene before he went to go talk to his professor and this error message popped up! I'm really enjoying the game so far though, so keep up the good work!

Yes, but thank you! I'm working on an update of the demo that will be also uploaded to Steam, so this bug will disappear shortly. Thank you for playing the demo!

I love the game so far, and how much is the pre-order o~o ? I hope you get lots of funding and the full game isn't too expensive. I love every part of the game so far and I'd love to play more

Thank you! The full game will be 10 dollars, and the pre-order option asks for the same price. You can also wait until next month, when we'll offer A Hand in the Darkness and the pre-order of Chasing the Stars as a bundle for a special price.

I just finished the updated demo and I'm really looking forward to the full game!

I was surprised by how much I liked Pol, I usually don't get excited over the friend, but I really liked how it seems to be playing out.  Very charmingly awkward.  Marc is equal parts interesting and alarming (those bad ends T~T).  And Biel!  There was not enough Biel!  He was my favorite prior to playing and I'm still looking forward to seeing more of him.  I think cute but grumpy must be my type.  I really love the protagonist too.  He was a lot of fun to play as, being so high energy and determined.

The setting was really neat, I saw the pictures and expected something more 1800s steampunk, but it was really more modern steampunk.  Are we going to Alaya?  I hope so!  I share Tirs's dream a bit.

I liked how you reused the CG to good effect when most games would have just used the sprites.  Zooming in on part kept it fresh and was a nice break visually.  And the art is just lovely of course!

I only encountered one minor bug.  It was ignoreable, but I wanted to make you aware of it:

While running game code:
File "game/script.rpy", line 1082, in script
show pol normal at left with move(1)
TypeError: 'MoveInterpolate' object is not callable

I can't wait to see more, keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for your kind words!

And yeah, Pol is a cutiepie! My beta sent me that annoying error, too; it doesn't appear in my game, but it's easy to solve. So thank you for pointing to it ;)

I hope this gets moving. There's a few art things that feel 'meh' to me, but I've enjoyed what I was able to play.  I know it's a Demo, but I had hoped to save it... Only to have the game crash on me. But I still love it. Can't wait to hear more about the game!

(+1)

There will be an updated demo at the end of this month (September), when we have the definitive backgrounds and more music, and have redone some minor GUI and visual elements! ^_^

But... the game crashed??! You didn't happen to save the error page, did you?

I thought 'I should have grabbed this...' after I'd closed it and was leaving the comment. But since all I have to do is try and save, I can most likely recreate it.

I'm excited to get to look forward to another game by your team.A Hand in the Darkness was good, so I'm hoping to see more of that. I love the steam punk aesthetic, and once I finish the whole demo I'll write in the Gaming in Pajamas blog about it.
For now, I did notice some grammar errors. I've been keeping track, but the list has become a bit long. So I thought, if you like, you can send me the script for the demo and I can just fix it up for you.  If not, that's okay too. Just thought I'd offer :)

Thank you, dear! The demo is still mostly unbetaed, but I hope my beta reader will finish with it during this week. I'm glad you like it so far, and thank you again for the offer!

Aaah! I can't believe the demo is out! So happy right now!

I've actually finished playing it once, and I must say I really love the art style, even more than I thought before. And I love Tirs... A. LOT. Haha!

Seriously, it's great to have a hero you can really like. I mean, it's sad when you don't care about the hero or, worse, if you hate him or her, right?

Now, one thing that was bothering me in the demo is the lack of option to adjust the text speed. I usually set it up pretty fast, but not immediate, so I had to choose between clicking and making it appear right away even if I don't like that, or letting it appear too slow for my tastes. I choose the former option, but I'd still like to be able to make it appear faster. I think that's my only complaint actually. I mean, I'd like all the BG art to be drawn and not photomanips, but I assume this will be done in time, right? The photos feel like placeholders, and you told there will be some on your tumblr, so yeah.

Speaking of what you were saying on your tumblr, you wanted to know our favorite boy so far, right?

Honestly, I want to say it's Tirs haha! But I know you're talking about the romance options, soo... Well, it isn't Marc, because he isn't my type, and I hardly ever like professor-student romances anyway, so even if he looks very handsome, he really isn't up my alley. Now, between Pol and Biel, it's a bit harder. I haven't seen Biel a lot in the demo, but he's exacty my type, usually at least. The thing is, for some reason I can't really understand, I love Pol quite a lot. I shouldn't, because I don't like the childhood friend type characters (I know it isn't exactly childhood here, but I think you get what I mean), and uh... I dunno, he shouldn't be my type overall, to be honest. But I can't help liking him a lot and really wanting him to be happy. He seems to be already somewhat in love with Tirs and struggling with that, and the way he does is really touching in a way. Sooo... on the long run, I may like Biel more than Pol, but so far I'll stick with Pol I think.

Oh and also, if I may suggest something... While I like the fact you give the option to skip or view adult scenes - it's always neat when people are able to choose - wouldn't it be more convenient to add an option to simply enable or disable adult/suggestive content in the options? I mean, you can still leave the prompts in game when adult content is enabled, that way people who wouldn't want to see some specific scenes can avoid them. I mean, I'll play with adult content enabled and I'm not planning on skipping anything, so it won't affect me in any way, but I dunno, I feel like I would feel unconfortable if I actually didn't want to see any adult content, but the game prompted me to choose each time. Something like "I don't want to know about that stuff, but now I KNOW it's there, and the intensity of it! Ugh!". Well, I actually don't know if people would feel that way, but if I didn't want to see adult content at all I'd do. Maybe you could make a poll or something asking about that? Well, if you feel it's a sensible idea, of course - as I told, it's only a suggestion.

Anyway, to sum it up, I really liked the demo - I didn't mention the story so far, since it's only the beginning, but it's promising and I can't wait to know more about it. Juggling between Tirs's professional life and his sentimental one won't be easy, I'm already sure of it, but I can't wait to give it a try in the full version!

So yeah, thanks for creating such a promising game and sharing the demo so soon! I'll be waiting eagerly for new updates! Already stalking the tumblr anyway haha!

Thank you for such a detailed review! You don't know how relieved I am to hear you like Tirs! It was my biggest fear so far, making a protagonist so workaholic and bad at love relationships that people wouldn't like him.

I didn't touch the text speed options, in fact, so it's supposed to be the default Renpy one, but I'll take a look at it.

About the backgrounds, you are perfectly right: the office, toilets and clubs are not photomanips, but true bgs made by Oncle Mugen for the Lemmasoft Forum, but they are placeholders while Justyna makes the final bgs (like the cafeteria one). We might end using some of Mugen's (those clubs bgs are really gorgeous ), but we'll try to at least make them look closer to our style.

About the option of skipping all adult scenes... I'll think about it. I thought that perhaps people would like the chance to skip only some of the scenes, with the characters they don't like much, for example, or could change their mind and decide to see one scene in a while. I hope more people give their two cents on the question!

Well, I can see your worries about Tirs - it seems legit, but I think the way he is makes him really interesting and you get easily attached to him. Of course I speak for myself, but I really like characters that are actually bad at relationships, and when part of the plot is them managing to get past it. The problem is, almost always when a MC is bad at relationships, it means they don't have any experience, rather than having experience but being bad because of some other reason. I don't think a shy and unexperienced hero is lame per se, but it's very refreshing to see someone like Tirs!
